The results of our review of literature concerning stress in nurses who work in long-term care health facilities revealed that previous literature can be classified as being characterized by one of the following five viewpoints: 1) factors of stress, 2) physical and psychological response to stress, 3) stress coping ,4) development and utility of scales to objectively measure stress, and 5) other. Of these, research concerning factors of stress in long-term care health facilities were characterized by “systemic problems of longterm care health facilities,” “difficulty in communicating with elderly persons and symptoms such as verbal and physical abuse,” “difficulty of inter professional coordination,” etc. Moreover, it was found that issues facing research on stress in nurses working in long-term care health facilities are 1) insufficient number of studies concerning countermeasures for stress in nurses, 2) lack of research concerning comprehensive relationships among various factors, 3) lack of examination of stress from a positive viewpoint. These findings reveal the necessity of future research that examines educational support related to countermeasures for stress, comprehensive relationships among various factors, and stress from a positive viewpoint.}, pages = {29--36}, title = {高齢者施設における看護職のストレスに関する研究の動向}, volume = {17}, year = {2017} }
