The Kid-KINDLR and a portion of the Youth Self Report were completed by 114 Japanese-Brazilian and 152 Japanese children in the fifth and sixth grades.\nThe results indicated that Japanese-Brazilians have higher self-esteem than Japanese children irrespective of the school they attend. Further, Japanese-Brazilians attending schools with a higher concentration of Brazilians have higher Hikikomori and Offensive Behaviors scores than those in schools with a lower concentration of the same.
