内容記述 | This study proposed a new color collage method based on the color collage method proposed by Yamane and Tanaka(2003). The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the quality of experience between the color collage methods of the Yamane( Y method)and Kunishima(K method).38 female undergraduate and graduate students participated in the study, experiencing both color collage methods and completing a questionnaire using the Revised Scale for Experiences in Art Therapy(SEAT-R). As a result of comparing the SEAT-R of two methods, the K method was higher in“return to childhood”. In addition, comparing the SEAT-R scores of the female students in the previous study with the SEAT-R scores of the female students in the collage, the results showed that the scores of the K method were higher in“feeling liberated and stable”and“returning to childhood”, while the scores of the collage were higher in“self-understanding”. These results indicate that the K method recalls childhood experiences and sensations during the creation process, and that the participants experience a sense of nostalgia more than the Y method. In addition, the comparison between the K method and the collage method showed that the color collage production was experienced as childlike play, indicating that the colored paper was recognized as a child's tool. In other words, it is conceivable that the K method encourages the creators to recall their childhood experiences and sensations. Although the K method was found to be less effective than the collage method in promoting self-understanding, it can be considered a safe method of expression that is less invasive to the one’s inner world, and can be said to be one of the methods that reduce tension between the creator and the observer. | |||||||||
