However, previous studies have identified a gap between the information presented on crime and delinquency by the media and the reality of the situation. This study reviews the factors—including bullying, abuse, and developmental difficulties—that contribute to delinquency. Furthermore, desistance from delinquency is associated with the presence and application of human resources, as well as the nature of personal relationships in the individual’s life and the stigma attached to this issue. These factors dictate the availability of the human resources necessary for desistance from delinquency. Moreover, novel means of self-perception, establishment and strengthening of human relations, and facilitation of a conducive environment for such individuals are necessary measures for resolving the issue of delinquency. It is also very important for people to recognize the gap between their current situation and their image. By identifying the backgrounds and behaviors of the individuals resorting to juvenile delinquency, we have attempted to remedy and prevent this pattern.}, pages = {9--19}, title = {非行少年の被害経験と支援に関する動向と展望}, volume = {22}, year = {2022} }
