Developing Emotional Salience Using Flash Cards Gilles, Matthew 1692 Emotional Salience Acquisition Memorization Salience is an object's ability to be classified as noticeable or important in a person's mind. When the language learner's study becomes salient, they have a higher potential for memorization, recall, and acquisition as the target words have been observed as important.
